According to FOX Sports, a significant number of national football associations have already secured their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while others have been eliminated during the qualification rounds.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and will mark the first edition of the tournament to feature an expanded field of 48 participating nations. This expansion has increased competition across all six continental confederations during the qualification phase.

According to GoogleNewsEN, FOX Sports maintains a continuously updated tracker detailing which nations have qualified for the tournament and which have been eliminated from contention. As of the time of publication, the full composition of the participating field has not yet been finalised, as qualification matches remain ongoing in several confederations.

Qualification is conducted through the six continental football federations: UEFA (Europe), CONMEBOL (South America), CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CAF (Africa), AFC (Asia), and OFC (Oceania). Each confederation has been allocated a designated number of available berths for the final tournament.

For the Caribbean region, including Curaçao, qualification is administered through CONCACAF. The three host nations — the United States, Canada, and Mexico — have received automatic berths and are therefore exempt from the standard qualification process within their confederation.
