Curaçao has secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
According to GoogleNewsEN, Curaçao has qualified for the 2026 tournament alongside Haiti and Panama. The three host nations — the United States, Canada, and Mexico — have received automatic qualification as the organising countries.
Curaçao’s qualification represents a notable achievement for the island territory, which forms part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The appearance at the world’s largest football tournament marks a historic milestone for the Caribbean nation.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in North America during the summer of 2026. The tournament will, for the first time, feature an expanded field of 48 participating nations, a format change that has broadened opportunities for smaller footballing nations to compete on the global stage.
